Flowers Die First  is a special project that helps to spark conversation about the choices many women face in their life: How to live for love. As a daughter I have found myself in the same position as the protagonist, Anita, and that is whether to sacrifice for the family you have now, or to make choices to build a future that is uncertain. 
Funding this film directly impacts the education of young women and allows them to showcase their craft and skill to festivals and professionals beyond. It also gives the opportunity for women and minorities to take center stage and be shown in a key and truthful light through my own experience and research.
